This page needs someone with some fbml experience to describe what sort of thing you can put as the boolean expression. Which variables can you get hold of to test? Javascript variables?

I don't think it's an expression... It's more likely to be just a string and the string being inputted through fbjs (while it was added), or through php while rendering.
