Talk:Status.set

From Facebook Developer Wiki

There is a Typo error in the article on Status.set under the Error Codes section. 1 is for SUCCESS. Here it is mentioned 1 is for "An unknown error has occured" Kindly correct that.

1 is an actual error code. The error code is in JSON format and is accompanied by identifying text. Pete (563683308 12:39, 23 February 2009 (PST))

[edit] Feature: Pronouns?

For applications that use this feature, it would be beneficial to include non-html FBML tags, such as <fb:pronoun /> or something similar. --604758172 13:25, 9 April 2009 (PDT)

[edit] Feature: status_id

This API should be extended to return a status_id. There should also be a status.delete that allows a 3rd party app to delete or expire a status that is no longer relevant.

+1000 for this request, is there any way to delete/expire a status?

[edit] Desktop applications can't set statuses?

Tweetdeck does it. Is Tweetdeck talking to a webservice behind the scenes? Or is the documentation wrong?

A non-employee added some information that's now incorrect. Fixed. Pete (563683308 13:01, 17 August 2009 (PDT))

[edit] Using @reference in status

Is there a way to @reference something in the set status call, a la: http://www.facebook.com/kingsley2?v=feed&story_fbid=305015780004&ref=nf

Not at this time, no. Pete -- 563683308 09:41, 29 October 2009 (PDT)
