Pete,

Your March 11th edit changed the images array to a single images entry to match the other media types. I can still publish multiple images, and an edit afterward put back the array around the key in the example, but didn't alter the text.

Question: will you be removing the multiple images and that's why thsi was changed? Question: if multiple images are still meant to be supported is it still the 4 maximum? I saw a story published today with 6 images (from another app) and have a few cases where it makes sense to publish more images if I can.

Thanks, Chris Nolan.ca --543396022 14:36, 20 March 2009 (PDT)

Hi Chris,

Turns out this was a change that never was pushed, and we're keeping it the way you see it -- 6 images are allowed in a story now. I updated the docs.

Sorry for the confusion.

Is this the correct format for the flash tag? I've taken the required params from the wiki, but doesn't work in the feed template console.

"flash":{ "swfsrc":"http://www.swf.com/movie.swf", "imgsrc":"img.png" }

That formatting seems correct, so could you please file a bug with your repro steps? Thanks! Pete (563683308 12:04, 28 April 2009 (PDT))

[edit] image sizes and count

The number of images and how big they are may or may not cause Facebook to scale them, in a way that may or may not be pleasant layout.

For example, it's possible to construct a 6-image wall story that "wraps" the 6th image to a new "line" visually in a wallpost in Firefox.

I built this Utility App to experiment with different layouts: Feed Templates App

[edit] swfbgcolor

Why in template feeds when you use the flash object you cannot set the swfbgcolor or wmode like fb:swf ?
