Many thanks to the developer. It will be great to soon be able to combine the functionality of Mediawiki and Facebook!
[edit] FB.UI undefined errors
Hey Garrett, if you could file a bug with a URL where we can repro this issue, that would help us immensely. Thanks! Pete (563683308 13:58, 2 February 2009 (PST))
- Unfortunately, my wiki only experienced this issue from my house, so I believe it was a DNS or other sort of connection error on my end that was causing firefox to fail to load some required features. Every week the problem would go away for a day or two, and then return. Since December 14, the problem has been completely gone. Something changed on my end or yours, but either way I haven't seen mention of FB.UI since about that date. Occasionally the DNS issue will return and random errors will pop up in the javascript console, or (as happened earlier tonight) my computer will refuse the entire facebook.com domain. I can still file a bug, but I'm afraid its not much to go on!
- On a side note, most of the DHTML on Facebook.com has been broken all night, and the fancy anchor navigation trick (like http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/profile.php?id=2539590) returns a blank page with only the blue heading and app bar at the bottom. Are many others reporting this problem? If not, then it must be the same flaky connection problems I had two months ago. --Garrett 13:18, 3 February 2009 (PST)
[edit] Special:UserLogin Vulnerability
First off, thanks for starting this extension.
I am not sure if this is isolated to my wiki. But once $fbAllowOldAccounts = true; in config.php, on Special:UserLogin if you enter any registered member's user name without entering a password and press login, this automatically logs you into the users account without any validation.
Could some one try this on there installation and let me know if its just my setup or its a bug withing this extension.
I'm running MediaWiki 1.14.0 --39607883 12:45, 9 May 2009 (PDT)
