Hi,

I've tried to find a way to come in contact with someone "responsible" for Facebook, without success. So I turn to "open web" this way;

Yesterday I received two identical mails from two friends on Facebook. It was in Swedish and looks like below. The main message in this mail is that Facebook is getting overloaded and that many registered users just have a profle but are inactive. TO be able to see which ones are active, I was urged to send this message on to 15 other users! If they reply, Facebook will know they are active and will not delete their profile. It is signed by Mark Zuckerbe, founder of Facebook.

I got suspicious, since I've delt with HOAX'es in my work. Could this be one too? The Swedish language is poor and not congruent with the Swedish profile languange at all. Also, if everyone is sending 15 mails to other users, you can just imagine the download on Facebook! I feel more as it is out for sabotage then "cleaning up"

How to reach someone responsible to determine if it's correct or not?

Possible HOAX mail in Swedish below.

Facebook har nyligen blivit mycket överfulla, det har många medlemmar klagat över att Facebook håller på att bli mycket långsam. Uppgifter visar att orsaken är att det finns för många icke-aktiva Facebook medlemmar och å andra sidan också många nya Facebook-medlemmar.

Vi kommer att skicka det här meddelandet runt för att se om medlemmarna är aktiva eller inte. Om Du är aktiv skicka till minst 15 andra användare använda Kopiera + Klistra in för att visa att du fortfarande är aktiv. * De som inte skicka meddelandet inom 2 veckor kommer att tas bort utan tvekan att skapa mer utrymme .*

Skicka detta meddelande till alla dina vänner och visa mig att du fortfarande är aktiva och du kommer inte att utgå.
