Saturday, 12 September 2009
This year's theme is all about internationalization. Facebook is expanding dramatically to all corners of the world, and how its doing this, the troubles and successes its achieving, and the reactions from the tremendously different audiences are all essential and key to developing new Facebook apps and better addressing the increasingly diverse Facebook audience. We will be featuring several speakers on the state of Facebook and its internationalization, and of course, you will be able to present on your projects as well. To speak, send the speaker form to hshieh@stanford.edu. You may also set up a stand at the event reception as well by providing your details in the "Notes" section of the Speaker Form. You will need to provide your own stand and materials. If you have trouble with the document files, an email to hshieh@stanford.edu with a short abstract, your group/organization name, if you will be taking questions, how much time you will need, and additional requests before 23h59 9 September 2009, is perfectly fine.
